After-hours Urgent Care is available to you on a walk-in basis at convenient locations throughout Orange County. Should you have a problem that is urgent but not life-threatening, you can visit any of the centers listed on this web site. See the map to find the one nearest you. Hours of operation and services provided are also included on this page.
Urgent Care or ER?
Urgent care centers are typically a more appropriate and faster means of treating non-life threatening, urgent medical conditions after hours that do not require the full resources of a hospital ER, such as:
- Shortness of breath caused by asthma or emphysema
- Stomach pain
- High fever
- Sore throat or ear aches
- Minor cuts, skin infections and rashes
- Minor fractures or broken bones
Emergency room visits may involve longer wait times because order of treatment is based on severity of illness, not arrival time. Call 911 or use an ER if you experience:
- Difficulty breathing
- Heavy bleeding
- Chest pain
- Sudden weakness or difficulty talking
- Severe head injuries
- Major burns or injuries
- Spinal injuries
In life-threatening situations, call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room.
